Extra Help, Inc. President Shares Philanthropy Experience with Non-profits

(December 19, 2011, Marion, Ill.) Teresa Katubig, President and CEO of Extra Help, Inc., was a featured speaker at a meeting of the Community Service Public Relations Council (CSPRC). Her topic was “Big Giving From Small Business – Engaging Small Business CEOs.”
Katubig was joined by two other small business panelists in discussing how non-profits can communicate their causes to small and mid-sized CEOs to facilitate the creation of community-engaging programs. A recognized leader in guiding her own company, Extra Help, to give back to community development organizations, educational institutions and human service programs, Katubig is the recipient of numerous local and national awards for her business success and philanthropic efforts.
The groups supported by Extra Help include Night’s Shield Children’s Shelter, Lighthouse Shelter, Salvation Army, The H Group, Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois, The Women’s Center, YWCA St. Louis, St. Patrick’s Center and Children’s Home + Aid.
