What is the HireLevel Hiring Process for Contract or Temp-to-Hire Roles?

Here is a brief overview to help you get started on your career journey with the HireLevel team:

Step 1: Find a Job that is best suited for you

Begin by exploring all our available openings at jobs.hirelevel.com. Here, you can filter jobs by location, job titles, and required skills, giving you a comprehensive view of the positions we consistently offer in our markets.

Step 2: Complete the Application

To apply for any position, candidates can use our quick apply form or access the application directly from our job board or here. On average, this application process typically takes just 1-5 minutes to complete.

For candidates who have applied previously, please log in to your account or reach out to our office if you encounter any login issues.

New Applicants: Please register for a new account to begin.

Step 3: Prepare for a Phone Screen

Once you’ve applied, anticipate a phone call or text within 1-2 business days. This initial communication aims to understand your work experience, acquired skills, and career preferences to identify the best opportunities suited to your background. If we are unable to reach you by phone, you’ll receive an email or text message to schedule an interview. Typically, the phone screen lasts 10-15 minutes.

Interview Questions that may be asked include:

  • Where are you currently working?
  • How long have you worked at this employer?
  • What are/were your responsibilities in the role?
  • What were your top 3 job duties?
  • Can you please tell us more about your job history?

 

Step 4: Complete the Onboarding Process

If the job opportunity is a good fit for you and the employer, a recruiter will email you electronic onboarding paperwork that requires completion. You will receive two separate emails: the first containing portal login information and the second with a link to the onboarding portal. Please complete this within 24 hours of receiving the email.

After completion, please call us to discuss the next steps.

Step 5: Recruiter Interview

If there are job opportunities that match your skills and interests, the next step will involve interviewing with a recruiter and/or the client. This interview process may include both phone and in-person interviews, with questions tailored to the specific job. These interviews typically last between 10-15 minutes.

Example Interview Questions could include:

  • What are your qualifications that make you the best candidate for this position?
  • What are three skills or values you possess that would be beneficial to any position?
  • For all your work history, what has been your proudest accomplishment?
  • What do you think are the top three characteristics of a good team player in the workplace?
  • Tell me about a time you went above and beyond at work.

 

Step 6: Attend a General Pre-Screen

At most office locations, you will need to participate in a general pre-screen session. This in-person group pre-screening helps prepare you for your first day with your new employer.

Step 7: Getting Hired

If everything proceeds smoothly, congratulations! You’re on your way to beginning work with us. Our recruitment team will equip you with the tools and guidance necessary for success on your first day and beyond.
