The month of March was all about service dogs and honoring our veterans. HireLevel is giving back to This Able Veteran in Southern Illinois as part of our #HireLevel Difference charitable giving challenge.
HireLevel’s charitable giving challenge was started in 2016 as part of the #HireLevelDifference campaign to help support local organizations in need and to help their employee’s understand the importance of giving back to the communities in which they live. As of 2018, they were able to raise over $17,500 and plan to contribute over $20,000 in 2019.
This Able Veteran is a service dog organization benefiting US military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Their program is proven to help veterans with PTSD cope successfully with the symptoms of PSTD, including depression, nightmares and social anxiety. The statistics are alarming, claiming the lives of 20 veterans by suicide daily. That’s almost one an hour, resulting in a little over 8,700 veterans lost a year. Someone has to do something to help, and that is what HireLevel is doing.
HireLevel was able to support this program by donating money and encourages you to get involved and support their mission. You can also make a difference by making your donation here.
