Extra Help, Inc. Celebrates 20 Year Anniversary
Aug 5, 2015
Extra Help, Inc., one of the region’s largest workforce management companies, is happy to announce the celebration of their 20th Anniversary this month. Two decades have passed since Extra Help, Inc. has grown from its small office in Johnston City, IL to six different locations throughout the United States.
Teresa Katubig, President and CEO of Extra Help, Inc., has come a long way since 1995 when she started her business as a temporary services agency in the small town of Johnston City, IL, yet she hasn’t forgotten her roots or how important it is to be a part of the business community. Katubig has been an entrepreneur since the beginning and while her business has evolved, her core beliefs about doing business remain steadfast.
“I was a single mother prepared to work hard to build a better life for me and my children,” said Katubig. “My mission was and remains simple – to do the right thing and treat people as we all want to be treated.”
Katubig believes that treating people right involves bringing to bear the right kind of expertise to help build a more efficient company. That includes developing partnerships with vendors and clients to make their work easier. That means knowing how to hire the right people for the job. It also means capitalizing on collaborations that make clients’ products better. If it wasn’t for the unlimited amount of support from local businesses and current clients, Extra Help, Inc. wouldn’t be such a successful business.
“To our clients and employees, current and future, I want to thank you for being such a huge part of this journey,” said Katubig. “Your loyalty and dedication have been appreciated over the last two decades, and I’m ready to see what our future holds.”
Today, Extra Help, Inc. is a regional leader in workforce management solutions, specializing in employment and payroll services. With over 50 employees and over $22 million in revenue, Extra Help, Inc. continues to grow across the country.
