Hello!! It’s Nicole Kline.
I must say this is the first blog I have ever written so please bear with me. I am the Regional Director of Operations for the Edwardsville/ St Louis region. I have been with Extra Help for almost five years now and am so excited for our new website and all of the other new and exciting things going on. As the holidays approach, I realize how much we, at Extra Help have to be thankful for. It is remarkable how things have changed since 2007. When we first expanded into the Edwardsville region in 2007, we had three employees (including me) in a small office building with four rooms. Within those four rooms we had offices, a kitchen, a bathroom, an application table, a receptionist desk, storage, etc. Needless to say we were a little cramped. Sara Gerstner came on board in 2008 when we were still in that office and is my “partner in crime” to this day. Not even five years later we have two great offices and twenty amazing employees in this area to help us grow.
While I’m saying thank you, I would also like to say thank you for the amazing recognition I received this summer by the Small Business Monthly on behalf of Extra Help. I’ve done a lot of nominating for awards for my co-workers, but never have been on the receiving end until recently. When Hilda Orosco (our Director of Sales and Marketing) informed me that I was recognized, I was speechless. Trust me when I say that I am not speechless often. I was very, and still am honored to be recognized.
As we enter the holidays, on behalf of Extra Help, I would like to say thank you: to our clients, our employees, our networking partners and our friends. We are thankful for you all and wish you an amazing holiday.
