“HR Strikes Back” at the 2017 Alabama SHRM State Conference

Although we enjoy having fun with our teams, we also enjoy furthering our education! A couple of weeks ago, Sarah Powell our Director of Client Development attended the “HR Strikes Back” 2017 Alabama SHRM State Conference in Birmingham, AL. She spent the week with HR and Staffing professionals from across the state, and also had some time to visit our Montgomery, AL location which was only about an hour away.
Some of the highlights of the conference were learning more about employee engagement, tips to succeed in employment law cases, and finally learning about important employment law and legal updates for 2017. As a Workforce Development company, it’s our job to always be informed and to stay up to date on the latest employment trends and laws to ensure our candidates and clients have the best, and most educated experience. Our team also received continued education credits for attending, which include such certifications such as the Certified Staffing Professional administered through the American Staffing Association.
