HireLevel Supports Local Women by Giving Back to The Women’s Safe House in St. Louis
Feb 24, 2017
(February 24, 2017 – St. Louis, MO) As a certified women owned business (WBE), HireLevel powered by Extra Help one of the region’s largest women-owned employment, payroll, and workforce services companies, knows a thing or two about supporting women in the workplace. HireLevel rolled out its #HireLevelDifference campaign last month, as an initiative for their employees to get involved with giving back to their local communities. Last year, they donated more than $10,000 to local charities, and hope to donate even more in 2017.
For the month of February, HireLevel decided to give back to The Women’s Safe House located in St. Louis, MO. The Women’s Safe House provides safe shelter and transitional living services to battered women and their dependent children. One in three women will experience some form of domestic violence within their lifetime, and every 9 seconds a woman is physically assaulted by an intimate partner in the United States. Through their services, they work to empower women to make informed choices about their future.
“We feel very strongly about supporting our local women,” said Business Development team member, Jessica Weathers. “As a company that is women owned and mostly women ran, we want to do everything that we can to support those who are working on creating a better future for themselves.”
