Dec 29, 2015
(December 28, 2015- St. Louis, MO) Teresa Katubig, President and CEO of Extra Help, Inc., one of the region’s largest women-owned employment, payroll, and workforce services companies, was recognized by Enterprising Women magazine as one of the 2016 Enterprising Women of the Year Award winners. Teresa Katubig and Extra Help, Inc. were winners in the “Over $25 Million in Annual Revenues” category.
The annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards is widely considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women business owners. To win, nominees must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of the honorees also serve as leaders of the key organizations that support the growth of women’s entrepreneurship.
“It’s an honor to be nominated for such an award,” said Katubig. “I’m a huge advocate for helping other women be the best leaders they can be for their business and their community.”
The 2016 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration & Conference will be held in late February in Miami, Florida. This will be a great opportunity for networking, and a “Hall of Fame” luncheon where two women entrepreneurs will be inducted into the Enterprising Women Hall of Fame, an outstanding nonprofit will receive the 2016 Advocacy Award, and one woman will be recognized with the 2016 Legacy Award.
