Sarah Powell Named Certified Staffing Professional

(January 12, 2015, St. Louis, MO) Extra Help, Inc., one of the region’s largest employment, payroll and workforce services companies, announced that one of its employees became a Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) which was received from the American Staffing Association (ASA). This newest accreditation is part of Extra Help’s commitment to furthering the professional development of its employees, and ultimately, the needs of its clients.
Extra Help’s newest CSP team member is Sarah Powell, a leader in Business Development for the St. Louis, MO office.
Sarah joined Extra Help’s Business Development team in May 2013. She works in the St. Louis market to develop new business, as well as maintain retention efforts with current clients. Powell has a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications with a specialization in Public Relations & Minor in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
The goal of the American Staffing Association is to promote the interests of the US staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry. ASA member businesses and organizations provide a wide range of services, including human resource consulting, training and temporary and contract staffing, recruiting and permanent placement, and outplacement and outsourcing.
The CSP designation provides staffing professionals with the critical knowledge and credibility they need to flourish in their careers. The Certified Staffing Professional program focuses on labor and employment law for those who interact with candidates, employees, and clients.
