Three Extra Help, Inc. employees earn Fundamental Payroll Certifications

(November 17, 2014, St. Louis, MO. /Marion, IL.) Extra Help, Inc., one of the region’s largest employment, payroll and workforce services companies, announced that three of its employees earned their Fundamental Payroll Certifications (FPC) from the American Payroll Association (APA), which is the first step to becoming Certified Payroll Professionals (CPP). These newest accreditations are part of Extra Help, Inc.’s commitment to furthering the professional development of their employees, and ultimately, the needs of their clients.
Extra Help, Inc.’s newest FPC team members include: Stephanie Hudson, Payroll Specialist, Erica Blackford, Payroll Specialist, and Kendra Russell, Accounting Support Administrator. With these newest accreditations, Extra Help, Inc. employs six team members with the FPC designation.
Stephanie Hudson, FPC joined Extra Help, Inc.’s payroll team in December 2013, and works in all facets within the department. As a Payroll Specialist she is responsible for, payroll processing, garnishments, and providing customer service to clients nationwide. She enjoys assisting clients with their business needs.
Erica Blackford, FPC joined Extra Help, Inc.’s payroll team in March 2014 as a Payroll Specialist. Erica is responsible for communicating with clients and assisting them with their payroll functions to keep them in compliance with the many state and federal laws and regulations. She works with our payroll team to compile data such as garnishments, vacation time and 401(k) deductions to ensure accuracy for our clients.
Kendra Russell, FPC joined the Extra Help, Inc. team in June 2014 as an Accounting Support Administrator. Kendra is responsible for balancing bank accounts, receivables, billing, invoicing and other accounting functions throughout the company. She also works with the payroll department in assisting in the payroll process.
