The goal of the American Staffing Association is to promote the interests of the US staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry. ASA member businesses and organizations provide a wide range of services, including human resource consulting, training and temporary and contract staffing, recruiting and permanent placement, and outplacement and outsourcing.
The CSP and CSC designations provide staffing professionals with the critical knowledge and credibility they need to flourish in their careers. The Certified Staffing Professional program focuses on labor and employment law for those who interact with candidates, employees, and clients. The Certified Search Consultant program concentrates on federal employment laws specific to recruiters and on state licensing and registration laws for direct hire firms. Candidates earn these certifications through self-study and an exam.
