Relationships with Communities and College’s
At HireLevel we feel it is important to make strong connections and relationships with our communities and area colleges, not only for networking purposes but also recruiting purposes. Being an active volunteer at our local university’s career development center gives us access to new and fresh candidates that we can utilize for our positions. This connection has also gave us the opportunity to have students become interns within our office’s that may later turn into future full-time employees. College connections also give us access to top of the line job fairs where we can meet potential candidates. Having good relationships in different community groups such as the chamber, rotary, and referral groups are ways to gain access to a variety of people that always know “somebody” either looking for a job or looking to make a career change – and that may be just the person you need to fill your next position. Having these close connections can always benefit your recruiting process by making things a little more personal to the candidate.
Go Where Your Clients Are
HireLevel has a variety of clients in multiple locations that we provide services to on a daily basis. One way that we make our recruiting methods tailor to our clients’ needs is to go out into the areas that we are recruiting in, and do events and recruiting specifically for our jobs in those areas. Hosting open interviews and recruiting events to help attract quality candidates for positions in their regions helps to show our client’s that we want to provide them with the best talent we can, and that we are doing our best practices to recruit for their positions. Posting ads and flyers in these locations about our events and interviews can help bring in more candidates to help build our candidate pipelines. Traveling to multiple recruiting locations also makes it more convenient for our candidates to start the first steps of our process by us coming to them.

Here at HireLevel we also feel that it is important to help coach our candidates through every step of the process in order to provide our clients with the most quality applicants that we can. Helping them create a resume that is professional and help catch the employer’s eye is one way we help our candidates win over the client. We also provide interview tips and tricks to help them feel more comfortable in the interview process and can provide them with questions that we may feel will be discussed in an interview with a client.
